Privacy policy
TapTell is a SaaS application for honest, anonymous guest feedback. This page summarises how we handle data. The full, legally binding privacy policy is linked at the bottom.
At a glance
- The guest rating page requires no account or contact details and uses no marketing trackers.
- A technically necessary language preference may be stored locally.
- Ratings, selected categories, optional comments and technical connection data are processed; a short-lived IP hash helps prevent abuse.
- Dashboard data is hosted in the EU.
- Full account deletion is available in Settings with email confirmation.
How it actually works
When a guest scans a QR code, the rating page runs without marketing trackers. The rating, selected categories and optional comment are stored against the QR code, not a guest account. A necessary language preference can be stored locally. Technical connection data and a short-lived hash derived from the request IP are processed for delivery and abuse prevention; the raw IP is not stored with the feedback.
Scope
This summary covers taptell.app, the TapTell owner Web and native apps, and the guest questionnaire at tell.taptell.app. The full policy and the guest privacy notice describe the applicable data transfers, retention periods, and GDPR rights.
