TapTell is a SaaS application for honest, anonymous guest feedback. This page summarises how we handle data. The full, legally binding privacy policy is linked at the bottom.
At a glance
- The guest‑facing rating page sets no cookies and collects no personal data.
- We do not ask guests to log in, register, or leave an email address.
- IP addresses are hashed before storage, never kept as raw addresses.

How it actually works
When a guest scans a QR code, we serve the rating page without third‑party trackers. Their rating is stored against the QR code, not against the person. The only identifier we keep is a hashed version of the request IP for basic abuse protection — raw IP addresses are never written to disk.
Scope
This applies to taptell.app and the TapTell Web app. Mobile and desktop apps will be covered when they become available. The full policy covers data transfers, retention periods, and your rights under GDPR.
