Why would guests be more honest with a QR code than with my waiter?

Face‑to‑face, guests avoid conflict — nobody wants to tell a smiling waiter the steak was bad. A QR code removes the social pressure: no eye contact, no staff standing there, no chance anyone will tie the answer back to them. Research on customer feedback consistently shows honesty goes up sharply when feedback is anonymous.

Do I need any special hardware?

No. A small sticker, a table tent, or the bill folder is enough. If your POS supports a custom receipt footer, you can add the QR there too. Guests scan with the phone they already have.

How much does TapTell cost?

Free covers 1 Location and the first 30 visible feedbacks per calendar month. Guests can still submit after that; the extra responses are stored and hidden until Pro.
